Good Vibes and Good Times: a review ! !

Good Vibes Fest was one of the best experiences of my life, and most definitely one of the best weekends ever ! It was such a great first festival to go to and it was for a number of reasons.

One: Getting VIP was the best decision I ever made ! !

When I got to the festival, I hadn't realized how big the GA (General Admission) area was, and how small the VIP area was in comparison. Getting VIP meant that I didn't have to worry about lining up a couple of hours before to see certain artists, or worrying that I couldn't see at all. VIPs had access to what was the "VIP Deck", that provided our own way of getting food and drinks exclusively. If you ever go to GVF and you have the money to spend on that weekend, I highly recommend getting them even though they're slightly less than 2x more expensive than GA tickets, I still think they're worth the spending.

Two: All of the acts I was super stoked for DID NOT disappoint.

Before I went away for GVF, I wrote an article about "Which Artists I was the Most Hyped For" , and they really did not disappoint ! The energy of all the acts I anticipated, especially that of Rae Sremmurd and Sabrina Claudio were a couple of the acts that made the festival so amazing.

Three: The acts I didn't expect to enjoy quite as much really surprised me in a good way.

Though I didn't get to see all of the low-key artists at the festival because I didn't go to both of the festival days during the times they started, I still got to see some of the artists I never expected to listen to (i.e. Rad Museum and Dean, who put on an absolutely spectacular set) !

Four: All the logistics of the event seemed to run very smoothly overall.

Though the event had many more people than I could have ever imagined, from my experience, the staff at GVF did such a great job with handling the logistics of the acts, the food/beverages, and the sales of the merch ! Though the price of the merch was EXTREMELY overpriced, it was still nice to know that there was still good stock of everything.

Five: I had the most amazing time with my friends, and met very cool people.

Good Vibes was a huge festival no doubt, but I still managed to see tons of people I knew, and more than once ! Also, being able to meet new people through the friends that I went with was also very cool. The whole venue had such a positive, fun, and vibrant environment, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to be a part of that. (Thanks mom and dad.)
